Results are released 1–5 days after your test. You can check them directly on IDP's official page — no account or password needed.
Exactly as they appear in Latin letters on the ID you registered with.
In DD / MM / YYYY format (for example 07 / 03 / 2001).
The passport or national ID number you brought on test day.
Your test results will be released within 1–5 calendar days after your test date.
A notification email will be sent to the address you provided during registration once your results are available. You can log in to your account to view your scores.
The paper and electronic TRF are equally valid. If you need a printed copy of your Test Report Form (TRF), request one from the test centre — please submit the Order a paper TRF form in advance before visiting. The electronic TRF (eTRF) can be downloaded from your account once results are released.

IELTS band scores are reported on a 9-band scale from band 1 to band 9, with each part of the test awarded its own band score. Listening and Reading are marked differently from Speaking and Writing.
The Listening and Reading parts each have 40 questions, and every correct answer earns 1 mark. The total out of 40 is converted to the IELTS 9-band scale.
Speaking is evaluated by certified IELTS examiners against four criteria: fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation.
Writing is evaluated the same way, with band scores awarded for each of the four criteria that best match your performance in Writing Task 1 and Task 2.
